It’s yet another week, can you believe it!? I feel like it was just yesterday that I was uploading a new outfit post! Time is moving way too fast, I feel like it was my birthday just yesterday too, wow. My week was busy as usual, but that’s life. And I’m glad we’ve all made it!
I’ve had the pencil skirt I’m wearing in this post for the longest time now. I seriously do not remember how long exactly. I’ll play it safe and say 2 years or so. I absolutely love it and have been dying to wear it but I just never knew what to pair it with till recently. I do this often actually, buy a lot of stuff but still find that I have nothing to pair them with. I’ll be posting a blog entry I wrote about How To Shop Like A Pro on Wednesday on how we can all combat that and have full and functional closets that we can all be proud of. Watch out for that!
I knew it was time to bring out my floral back-of-the-closet skirt when I purchased the white blazer at Truworths. Cause I mean what doesn’t match with white right? (well a lot of things actually, but not this skirt lol).To finish off the look I added this sexy bodysuit I got from the famous YDE sale earlier this year. I adore this bodycon to bits and pieces. The lace is super sultry and I opted for that over a blouse because I didn’t want the outfit looking too “worky” or “churchy”.
If you’re going for a more conservative look I would suggest you switch up the bodysuit with either a blouse or even a camisole will do. Make sure to tuck either of those in for a more finished and put together look.
The shoes I chose were a no brainer. They are the ones I bought for my 21st birthday celebration this year and the same ones I wore and styled in the 21 post. I opted for these over my go-to black shoes to keep the outfit bright and festive. It is spring after all!
