Rain! I mean the name itself sounds so refreshing, so you can only imagine what this body polish smells and leaves you feeling like. I got this polish a while ago during a mini #ECMeetup that a couple of Eastern Cape bloggers and I attended mid last year. I have been hooked ever since!
With Kalahari melon oil and anti-oxidant honeybush for dry skin, this polish will not only ensure that you get rid of those dry, dead skin cells but it will also leave your skin moisturized and will give it that summer glow and smooth out any wrinkles while at it.
One of the key ingredients this ah-mazing polish contains is sodium chloride, also known as sea salt, and oh my goodness I never knew I could become addicted to rubbing salt on my body before this lol. The salt granules are big enough to be effective when scrubbing off dead skin cells but are small enough to not cause irritation when you scrub (so having sensitive skin shouldn’t be too big a worry). Your skin is left feeling soft, fresh, smooth and dead-skin-free.
Some of the other key ingredients in this polish are sweet almond oil which helps smooth skin out and leaves it feeling soft. Kalahari melon oil and honeybush tea powder are rich in antioxidants. Antioxidants are great for skin firming, scar treatment, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and also help repair sun damaged skin.
Directions for Use
The directions on the beautifully designed, frosted glass jar say you are supposed to apply the polish on wet skin, rub gently and rinse afterward. But I will have to admit that all the times I have used it I have not rinsed with soap and water to remove excess oils like it states. And that’s only because the oils feel so good! Trust me once you try it you will know exactly what I am talking about.
If you are looking for the perfect polish for those long self-pamper baths then this should be your go to. You can find it in selected stores nationwide (to find your nearest store visit their site here), or you can shop on their online store here. It costs R175 for a 270g jar and the jar goes a pretty long way. Rain, it’s all about living, naturally indeed!
